Clemens Jahn
Most of my pictures are on-the-go photographs. I suppose the moments or situations captured initially originate from an inner discourse which consists of how I perceive things, my personal memories, associations and desires. Eventually, however, the image itself will ‘prevail over the thing it is an image of’. Which means that I don’t try to document but much rather create an imagery detached from its origin leaving as much space as possible for the viewer’s imagination and interpretation.
